NerdVine is an invite-only professional marketplace built on protection, fairness, accountability, and structured engagement. This Code of Conduct outlines the behavioral standards expected of all members.
By using NerdVine, you agree to uphold these standards.
1. Professional Integrity
All members must:
Provide accurate and truthful information
Represent qualifications honestly
Deliver work consistent with agreed terms
Communicate respectfully and professionally
Misrepresentation of skills, experience, or identity is grounds for removal.
2. Respectful Communication
Users agree to:
Maintain civil and professional communication
Avoid harassment, threats, discrimination, or abusive language
Engage in good-faith discussions during projects and disputes
NerdVine maintains zero tolerance for harassment or intimidation.
3. Proposal Fairness
Professionals must:
Submit proposals only when genuinely qualified
Respect the five-proposal cap system
Avoid spam, automation, or system manipulation
Businesses must:
Provide clear project descriptions
Avoid misleading budgets or expectations
Engage with submitted proposals in good faith
4. Escrow Compliance
All transactions must occur through the Platform’s escrow system.
Members may not:
Request off-platform payments
Circumvent milestone protections
Pressure others to bypass safeguards
Escrow compliance is mandatory to protect both parties.
5. Confidentiality
Users must:
Respect confidential information shared during projects
Avoid unauthorized disclosure of sensitive materials
Use project data solely for agreed purposes
Confidentiality violations may result in permanent removal.
6. Review Integrity
If review systems are implemented:
Reviews must be honest and factual
Coercion or conditional review behavior is prohibited
Retaliatory reviews are not allowed
Reputation systems exist to maintain trust, not leverage.
7. Prohibited Conduct
The following actions are strictly prohibited:
Creating multiple accounts to bypass limits
Uploading plagiarized or illegal content
Impersonation or fraudulent behavior
Attempting to exploit platform systems
Using the Platform for unlawful activity
Serious violations may result in immediate suspension without notice.
8. Enforcement
NerdVine reserves the right to:
Issue warnings
Suspend accounts
Permanently remove users
Restrict access to features
Forfeit access to disputed funds where permitted
Enforcement decisions are made to protect the integrity of the Platform.
9. Commitment to Structure
NerdVine prioritizes decision quality over volume. Membership is conditional upon maintaining professional standards.
Access is a privilege, not a right.
