No professional starts a project without funds locked in escrow. This eliminates the single most common form of freelance abuse.
Maximum 5 proposals per job
Every job listing accepts no more than five proposals. Professionals compete on merit, not volume. Clients get clarity, not chaos.
Not everyone gets in
Both professionals and businesses are reviewed before being granted access. NerdVine is a community of trusted, accountable people.
Reviews submitted before seen
Both parties submit their review simultaneously, without seeing the other’s. This eliminates retaliation and produces honest feedback.
Disputes are investigated, not ignored
When something goes wrong, NerdVine steps in. We review evidence from both sides and make a ruling. No ghosting. No arbitrary decisions.
Violations have consequences
Bad actors are removed. Repeat offenses are documented. The platform’s value depends on the behavior of everyone in it.

Client approves or disputes
The client reviews and approves — releasing funds — or raises a dispute for NerdVine to investigate.

Payment released

How do I get approved as a professional?

What happens if a client doesn’t approve my work?
If a client raises a dispute, NerdVine reviews the evidence from both sides — the contract scope, deliverables, and communications. We make a fair ruling. Professionals are protected from arbitrary rejection.
Who holds the escrow funds?
NerdVine holds escrow funds in a dedicated account separated from operating funds. Funds are only released upon client approval or dispute resolution.
What if I have a bad experience with a member?
Report it through the platform. We investigate all reports. Members who repeatedly violate platform standards are removed. Your feedback shapes the community.
